The iron club can also be used for teeing purposes and getting the ball from hazards such as bunkers.

The last step is ‘sinking the putt’ which means that, the golfer pushes the ball into the hole with little effort. This action uses the ‘Putter’. This club has been made differently from other clubs. The putter has a shaft that is bent to increase the chances of putting the ball in the hole. There are putters with shorter shafts and these are designed for use by ladies and children. Putters with longer shafts are mostly used by men.
